Aeolus keeps angry

Posted from Narbonne, Languedoc-Roussillon, France.

The god of the winds is still angry with me and and the Tramontana keeps blowing strong. And little Michael knows that there is no sense in fighting against the gods and the elements.

I got up early this morning and gave it a try. However, I noted the tremendous effort of yesterday´s hard stage. With the again strong face wind the knees started aching after a few kilometers. With the lessons well learnt I decided to stop and headed straight to the next train station where I took the train to Narbonne.

Narbonne has more than 2000 years of history and buildings of all ages and styles. I was impressed by the gothic cathedral. I listened to an organ concert in the church and used the occasion to light a candle for better winds tomorrow.

Although I did almost nothing today I feel really tired.

Todays route on the bike: 11,81 km

Yippie ! Across the French border …and heading north pretty fast despite the winds…- terrific adventure.

I don’t know too much about the God Aeolus – but we’d like some windy activity down in Alicante so maybe you simply ask the Windy God to head south and then we’ll all be happy…

    Enjoy the evening
