Confluences

Posted from Lyon, Rhone-Alpes, France.

Right after the breakfast I had a traditional cambodian massage. I had seen the practice right around the corner of the hotel when I came home last night. The lady had warned me that I would scream and stood with her full body on my legs and on my back. I felt really good after the massage. It was amazing what she could tell me about me and my brain by making me a massage of the body.

After that I followed her recommendations and had a relaxed stroll through old Lyon. The quarter of my hotel is very bohemian, they have a lot of cafes and art galleries. Later I went to the point of confluence of the rivers Rhone and Saone to visit the brandnew and futuristic anthropologic Museum of the Confluences. The museum wants to tell the story of man from his origins to modern day and the confluences of cultures. They have several very different expositions and as I could not see all of them I maybe go back tomorrow.

As the winds have not changed yet I will stay another day in Lyon. It looks like a place where the people know about enjoying their lives.
