Sweet idleness
Posted from Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain.
I added another day of rest in Tarragona. I like the town and my little hotel, but the true reason are my knees.
They are not yet totally recovered. Progressing so fast on the first days probably made me euphoric so that I overheard the signals. Bearing in mind that I am only at the beginning of my trip I have to be more careful. Cycling with pain in the knees is definitely no fun, if not impossible. I will do less kilometers in the coming days and hopefully not overcharge them again.
This morning I have changed the room in my hotel. I have now a little balcony overlooking the square with the bars. I spent the whole morning on the balcony. The rest of the day I learned a lot about Tarragona in the age of the romans. In the townhall they have an impressive 3D-model of the old roman town. At the point where my hotel stands was then the circus. Just imagine, a couple of years ago they celebrated chariot races right under my balcony!
Todays route: 0 km
Enhorabuena Michael, ya casi has llegado a Francia.
Go with the flow 🙂
Abrazos, Rosa Y Joaquin
